Baby’s First Christmas….

Fairy lights, tinsel, festive songs and an abundance of relatives…..Christmas can be a strange and confusing time for babies. Make sure your baby’s first Christmas is a wonderful special day and as stress-free as possible.

It might be worth inviting everyone over to your house for Christmas Day so that you can look after your little one in the comfort of your own home, without having to lug nappies and baby wipes halfway across the country to visit relatives. Why not ask family members to each bring part of the Christmas dinner and help you prepare the food so that you’re not stuck in the kitchen doing a Nigella by yourself.

It’s easy for your baby to feel overwhelmed at Christmas so try to stick to your regular feeding, bathing and sleeping schedule as much as possible to avoid too much disruption. Try the Little Me Organics Shhh Sleepy Head Bath Milk with dill and organic lavender to relax, soothe and help baby get a peaceful night’s sleep.

Don’t feel like you have to shower your baby with millions of presents – they’ll probably be more interested in the wrapping paper anyway! Too many toys can be confusing so just give your baby a couple of toys to play with at once and encourage relatives to play with your baby, read them a story or sing them a Christmas song.

Finally keep that camera or video recorder on standby as you’ll want to keep these memories forever!
